Got some outside time last night.  Of course, if you were one of my Facebook friends you would’ve already known that.  Anyway, got out twice.  First time was just a quickie to grab some grass.  And then when FP got home, I went out again.  And just what did I see when I went out?

Yep.  Deer.  They come through from time to time.  Usually they eat AH’s plants in the garden and FP’s roses.  Well, they used to until we put up fences.  They didn’t stick around for very long because I scared them off.  They know better than to pick a fight they cannot win.

In other news, my Leesville High School  Wampus Cats lost again.

Sulphur (2-1) was able to avoid the possible trap game situation and improved to 2-1 on the season with a 51-27 win over the Wampus Cats (0-3) on Friday night at Matt Walker Memorial Stadium.

They’re still a good team that’s yet to find its footing.  We’ll see about this week.

Closer to home, AH sure had some fun Saturday as his college football team won a huge game.  He didn’t yell as much as normal because FP and I were napping.  And you know what?  I think we’re going to do that from now on.  We nap, he doesn’t yell at the TV.  And then his professional football team stunk it up yesterday, but again - no yelling.  No, we weren’t napping; he just didn’t care.  He expects them to stink up the joint.  And they did.
